After we found our Airbnb, we headed out for food. When in Montreal, poutine is in order. La Banquise thankfully didn't have a terrible wait due to it being past lunch hour.

The first breakfast consisted of crepes and way too much chocolate. Much regrets.
The afternoon was spent wandering the square. The other two went into the church while I stayed and listened to people playing music.
Smoked. Meat. Schwartz. There is no competition; me and Viv loved it.
We bought cheese and meats at the market for our own cheeseboard, and a few cakes to celebrate a certain gal's birthday.

Morning coffee on the patio.
We then ventured over for bagels (the third on our to-eat list), and spent the rest of the day browsing the shops. I got a pin to commemorate our trip.
We discovered that not all smoked meat is created equal. From the overcooked fries to the watery coleslaw, this whole meal was a miss.
We decided to go up Mount Royal to see the sunset. The 'hike' turned out to be a pretty simple walk, and before long, we were among the crowd hoping to see the sky change - but the lookout only faced east.
Our last breakfast before we went home to pack, and then spent the rest of our afternoon at a cafe before heading to the station.
