Wellington

We woke up and decided to go to the McDonald's with the plane (which is actually a play area) for breakfast. The offerings were pretty similar to breakfast back home, and I made a mental note to try the Kiwi burger if we stumbled across another McDonald's.

mono. pt. 2

As promised earlier, a deeper dive into mono. I'll be linking the lyrics and translations from one of my favourite fan translators, for better understanding.

Reflecting on mono.

mono. I love this mixtape playlist. I was in Hong Kong when it was announced, to the surprise of everyone, and I was just about to drift to sleep two days later when it dropped. "What super power would you want to have?"
Besides flying, which, as some scientifically-correct people spoiled by pointing out that it wouldn't really be feasible due to Fact A and Fact B, the second "super power" I always wished to have was the ability to understand every language. Back then, it was simply for the reason of knowing what others were talking about, but as of late, this "power" has filled my mind for more substantial reasons.

If you are unable to describe a feeling or emotion properly,
If you don't have the word that perfectly captures your emotions,
Does the emotion you have skew into another feeling in order to try and fit the vocabulary available to you?

Melting into spring

Spring has been slowly but steadily making her presence known; the muddy grass and the thinner coats have been warmly received as of late.

I think all seasons have their charm, but there is definitely something a little bit special about spring. The rebirth of dormant trees and flowers, the reemergence of animals (and bugs), and the general lightening of spirits. Though I like living in a clean environment, I despise cleaning, but lately I've been getting the itch to clean and reorganize my space. The weather is seriously doing some crazy things to me...
