We hike to eat

We started the morning with a trip to Revolver Coffee, which was across our hostel in Gastown. We sat to write our postcards before venturing over to the post office.

We wandered over to Richmond to have dim sum with my aunt and uncle, and then went to pay Daiso a visit. There, we encountered the longest line I've ever seen on my life - it looped the entirety of Aberdeen Centre. When we asked a man in line what it was for, he said they were trading regular toonies for a limited edition Canada 150 one.

After spending a shocking amount at a "dollar store", we met up with Ran and took the bus to Lighthouse Park.

We wandered over to Richmond again to go shopping at Daiso (round 2), H-Mart, and a quick meal at the food court, and then headed over to the Richmond Night Market. The food was alright, but the craziness led to no photos. I still dislike paying entrance fees when you go in to spend money.

The next morning saw us at the Cafe Medina line shortly before 9am. Surprisingly, this was sleeping in for us already - 6am had been the standard wake-up time for the previous days.

We were on our way to take the ferry and bus to Lynn Valley, when a quick stop to Mister (previously closed because nothing in Vancouver stays open past 10pm) was made for some nitrogen treats.

This huge tree was uprooted! Ranee for scale.

Ramen for dinner! All the other lines were long, so Maru-tama Ramen was our choice. We stopped by H-Mart to get food for tomorrow before heading to bed...

More to come...
