Day 26 & 27
We woke up and made our own traditional breakfast with beans, fried tomatoes, and plenty of tea.
The morning started off with driving into northern Ireland, where the next stop was the Giant's Causeway.
There was a bit of a walk to the basalt columns, and people quickly filled the area as the day wore on.
It was truly fascinating to see in person, but it was so busy that it was hard to admire it between dodging others and trying not to trip on the differing levels.
We continued to walk along and stumbled upon the Giant's Boot. Upon closer examination, the many coins people tried to jam into the crevices became clear.
We left the causeway and headed towards Belfast. After checking into our apartment, we went out for dinner at a nearby pub.
The next morning, we headed to Titanic Belfast museum. As with most museums, there were no photos of the interior, but I did capture my lunch at the cafe there.
We then headed back to Ireland, and checked into our last accommodation in the town of Swords. The minute we pulled into the parking lot, I met a friendly cat who was not allowed indoors, so we stayed outdoors to play.
We had dinner at Nando's in the local mall, marking my second visit, and everyone else's first.
We had breakfast and cuddles with the cat before heading to the airport in the morning, and so concluded my 4-week journey in Europe.
